She said that she wasn't able to eat, that she would feel sick when she woke up in the morning or she wouldn't be able to sleep at night, that she wasn't able to keep food down.

And what she said was that she just couldn't function, that she wasn't able to do anything or to leave the house.

So it's fair to say it had and continues to have an immense toll on her.

She did mention that there was also a historic issue with drugs going back to the early part of their relationship as well, that around the time shortly after they first got together, that he had to undergo treatment for drug addiction then.

She said looking back, that was a red flag, something that she maybe should have heeded.

But as many people do when they're in a relationship with somebody, she decided I'm going to stick this out and help to look after him.

And she said as well that she actually paid for his treatment.

And mentioned that with her two children in the house.

She doesn't concur on that.

That's really the main point of contention between the two interviews that Tommy and Tina have given.

Tommy, on the one hand, saying, I disclosed to her that I was in a relationship previously with a man.

Tina, on the other hand, saying that conversation never took place, that he never told her that he was bisexual, never told her that he'd had a previous relationship with a man.

And regarding Tommy's sexuality, what she told Niamh was,

the wife is often the last person to know in these situations.

So it's really the main point, I think, of contradiction between the two of them in those two interviews, that whether that conversation ever took place or not.

Tommy maintains that it did.

Tina vehemently denies that it ever did.

Yeah, that's where things really start to unravel and the breakdown of the relationship really accelerates.

So there was some sort of a row that took place on September 16th in the family home.

And Tina's daughter, Tommy's stepdaughter, Becky, confronted him in the aftermath of that and asked him directly, are you gay?
