But yeah, you did mention there that he has since got back on stage and that didn't go particularly well for him.

So he played at the Friarsgate Theatre in Limerick on Saturday and...

He was only able to perform two songs.

He said that he was feeling a little bit ill and that he felt that he couldn't sing.

So he performed the first song, said, I might not be able to continue, performed the second song and said, good night, I'm sorry.

And I might be back here in the near future and maybe do an extra gig at the same venue for charity.

But that's for now.

His ambition to get back on the stage has been cut short by illness.

Very much so, yeah.

He said that it is his focus, that he wants to get back on stage, that he sees singing on stage and performing again in his future.

But for now, the priority is, of course, his continuing recovery and his health.

Yeah, so Tina's side of the story in some ways is a little bit different from Tommy's.

And regarding his sexuality, Tina did say that she had questioned that for years.

You did also stress as well that her feelings towards him now and her anger over this situation with the relationship breaking down have nothing to do with his sexuality in a vacuum.

And what she said was, he shouldn't have stolen 24 years of my life.

So that's how Tina feels about the situation.

And she did mention as well that there were suspicions

on her part of an affair in the early part of their relationship that he was on the phone a lot and that she was unsure why exactly that was but as mentioned earlier the relationship did continue of course for many years after that and by all accounts they were they were happy for much of that relationship

Yeah, both physically and mentally, she said that she's gone through some weight loss in recent months.

She told Niamh that she had lost two stone and that essentially she was in the middle of a breakdown around the time of the relationship breaking up.
