How do we solve that?
That's the difficult thing.
One area of the game that we've always been able to provide is making sure that we've got superior coaching, that we've got
really good, fun, connective environments that we are appropriately compensating those players to the level of play.
How much do we pay them so they don't have to go overseas?
So there's lots of other sort of non-monetary things or other ways we can compete.
But I don't necessarily think there's any silver bullet to stopping players making decisions that they do.
Yeah, I'm certainly in favour of that.
I think...
Yeah, the one thing that Australia going to four teams, it's definitely strengthened those four teams.
To a certain extent, you could argue there's been a dilution effect here in New Zealand around, have we got the talent to now fill five teams, you know, to the level of quality that we've expected in the past?
given that Moana is likely or has made their decision to cease, you know, that would take less pressure off our sort of internal playing market, even though largely they've been shut out of a number of those talented players.
So, yeah, I think from an interest level, it would be cool that, you know, you've got a marquee player that could be from New Zealand if Bowdoin wants to go and play for the Reds.
It's an interesting thing.
I'd,
People will follow him.
We'd follow the progress of that team he's joined.
Absolutely.
And then equally, it creates a market for players around attracting the best players and teams wanting to recruit well.
So I'd be in favour of that.
