Because you want to walk into Walmart and feel everyone's feelings?
I don't think so.
Right?
Because it's just a random wash of humanity.
It's not, it's normal.
And you're trying to be better than normal.
So
Oh.
The step above empathy is compassion, which is, oh, I automatically wish all these people at Walmart well.
I'm not gonna judge them, even if they're on the People of Walmart webpage.
Which is the funniest thing ever, if you've ever seen it.
But uh the idea here is okay, I just like I have compassion, right?
That's healthy.
And empathy is not so healthy because you're whipped around by other people's emotions all the time.
And then on the other hand, the people who are meet robots, which is where I was, I will refuse to acknowledge my emotions.
Uh because I don't comprehend them and because dealing with my emotions is unsafe, I can just think my way out of them and therefore I will earn love.
But
For them to crack through into their emotions is ah, I did that when I was about thirty at a personal development retreat.
It took like seven days before I would go.
I guess I have an emotion besides anger.
