Yeah, that he's exceeded that expectation set by a weird old man in Bill Polian.
And it's not just Bill Polian.
There were people out there, I remember, at the time saying that I don't think he translates to the NFL.
And that was always that weird curmudgeon kind of logic that as soon as you see it on the field, you're like, oh, I guess I was wrong.
It is possible to play that style of ball in the NFL.
Remember, Lamar Jackson, the knock on him was he's going to break.
You're going to end...
I got to say, he has kind of broken, you know, the idea that he had clean health and wasn't getting over the hump the first couple of years of his run when he was an MVP candidate and he still is every year.
He is breaking down.
um and missing big games and it's happening fairly consistently with lamar jackson and with josh allen too i think they both at roughly age 30 now have to consider for the good of the team and how far they can get in january and you see some of that starting to happen with the way they play not running as much anymore but they kind of need that michael jordan kobe bryant mid-career
playing style adjustment.
They were much more dynamic in their 20s.
Jordan and Kobe were attacking the rim, and then they sort of realized at age 30, I think mid-range jumpers are more the way to go here.
I think Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson both need to become that guy.
I don't know if they're capable of doing it and if they'll be as effective if you take away their ability to run with the ball.
Is it, though?
Do you know?
I mean, people always give Lamar Jackson that benefit of like, well, Mark Andrews had caught that ball.
Now we're having it.
How do we know that Lamar Jackson was going to run and the Ravens were going to win out if they win that game?
