When you got this role, I mean I imagine that Churchill is the kind of guy that everybody in England can do an impression of.

Was it daunting to take this on?

I mean the role had been played by a lot of other people.

You know, I really love the series.

And, you know, when you came on and the first time you were on screen as charge, oh, God, yeah, there's John Lithgow.

Yeah, I recognize him.

Pretty soon, it wasn't John Lithgow.

I mean, you were Churchill.

I mean, and one of the things I read is that you placed little balls of some material in the jowls of your cheeks to give you that thing going.

Really?

You're better at an English accent now than you were when you played Churchill?

Yeah, this is for the HBO series based on Harry Potter.

Have you finished shooting the first series?

You know, I have to ask, at age 80, you know, I'm not 80, but I'm older.

I'm an older person now, and my short-term memory isn't what it used to be.
