We have to mention Rocky, obviously.
The 70s.
1, 2, 3, 4.
The disaster that was 5.
And then...
This can't be true.
In 2006.
This should have been a great mistake.
I know.
And it just so wasn't.
So good.
Mason to Lion Dixon, a great foil for the aging Rocky Balboa.
Isn't the entire premise that they do a video game simulation?
Yes.
And Rocky wins the simulation, is it?
Yes.
No, he wins the simulation.
For brevity, I actually cut out the part when your man's agent's like, let's face it, that simulation got a lot of people talking.
and then all of a sudden he's like we're putting this fight together I don't want to get embarrassed out there it's surprisingly respectable yeah respectable I'm not saying it's a great movie it's not bad though it's much better it kind of reclaims some respect for the franchise if you actually go back and watch it now it actually holds it very well the fight scenes in particular are quite good okay
it has a touching ending as well I remember seeing it in the cinema and being like that was much better than I thought it would be relationship with his son is alright as well the trailer is so good though his son is such an ungrateful so and so in this movie treat your father with a little bit of respect Rocky has to have a fractured you know personal life as well also sorry he's visiting Adrian's grave yes and Polly's grave at the end I think they're both and he's reading the paper like it gets you or maybe that's in Creed maybe we're getting them mixed up but I will say Rocky 4 the infamous fight takes place on Christmas day so it counts
