I have to show everyone I'm good right now.
And then you said, are you okay?
Because I was in a cupboard in the dark and I was sleep deprived.
And your question, I said, I'm totally and utterly broken.
And there was like a weird pause and I think maybe Ed laughed and then he went, okay, well, it was wrapped up pretty quickly, but it was your question.
And then when, as often happens with those interviews, you know, we had a quick chat afterwards, you know, and he said, mate, I hope you're okay.
I know it's tough down there.
Maybe you knew because you were there.
That question, when you asked me, that was, I got out of the cupboard and then I saw Penny, my wife, and she said, how'd you go?
And I just started crying and I said, I'm not coping very well.
I said, well, at the end of the interview, I said, no, no, all this, I'm really struggling.
I held on to it for a year and a half.
And I started seeing a psychologist the week after that.
And it actually led to the whole second book and me understanding everything you just talked about, letting go of ego.
Um, it was, I just realized just then you're the one who actually prompted the whole thing.
Which was, I just, I just thought that just then, as you're saying.
So you mentioned your kids there.
Have you managed to get the balance right over the years with family and work?
