And the league didn't actually rescind the major.
It still goes on his penalty minute record as a five-minute major.
They rescinded the game misconduct aspect of it, meaning that if he gets a second game misconduct within a certain period of time, it calls for an automatic suspension.
Now he doesn't have one on his record.
He's back to zero.
So that's what they rescinded.
You know, I have the benefit of watching it a bunch of times in slow motion.
I believe the nurse, the defenseman for Edmonton, exacerbated it, ran into him, changed his direction, changed his line.
I didn't see any intent.
I think probably in hindsight, and I think the referee would probably agree in hindsight, it was too minor for a goaltender interference.
You've got so much going on with goalie interference.
Everybody seems to say, you know, I don't even know what goalie interference is anymore.
