So it works out pretty neatly.
There's the diamond.
The one that I built.
I was there all in a bat and I was pumped.
Continue.
so after i set this target up i'm like okay i guess i have to go like shoot some and i have i have a hundred yard zero range at my house so i've got my little shooting bench it's it's more of an acreage thing than like a nice thing reference my previous comment
I mean, my closest neighbor is two miles away, and then the closest one after that is four.
So I'm by my fucking self out here with my wife and my kids.
I wanted to figure out what the fuck was wrong with my 6.5 when I missed my deer, and I figured it out.
So when I was hunting my deer and I ranged my deer...
It gave my little range finder gives me my holds, you know, because it's got applied ballistics in it.
And when I pulled my scope cap off because it doesn't have the locking turrets or whatever, it's just a fucking three to nine by 40 scope.
So I had to pull my scope cap off.
And I look and it's at like 11 MOA.
And I was like, oh, that's about how far it is that I've got to crank it up to shoot my 630 yard target.
And so I read my dope on my range finder, which was seven and a half MOA.
So I backed it down to seven and a half MOA.
What I did not realize is that when I was sighting in my 300 windbag and my, before elk season, I was also sighting in my 6.5 Cremor, and I took a shot at my 630-yard target, hit it, put it back to zero, but I went like two and a half or two clicks, three clicks past zero, which then meant that
My scope, what I thought was doped high, it wasn't.
It was 0.75 MOA low.
