Our buddy Ty is in the chat, the one that's putting that coyote contest on, and I believe he's the one that told me that they were feeding deer out of a feeder, and then they just got used to the sound of the feeder going off.

Yeah, everything that walks that's not a human is managed in Colorado pretty much, except for like invasive stuff.
Audad or Barbary sheep, that is an invasive animal.
So you don't need a license or anything to shoot one of those.
They actually want you to get rid of those because they carry diseases that will affect our bighorn population.
There was one running around here about seven years ago, and everybody with a fucking rifle was after it.
yes yeah you need small game license you need a small game license for groundhogs prairie dogs prairie dogs actually have a season in colorado so public ground you can hunt them from june 15th to the end of february i believe and then you can't hunt them in between their private ground you can hunt them year round but they have everything listed that you could possibly kill in colorado
that way they can manage it that's why coyotes it's it's a year-round season and there's no bag limit but they say that just in case they need to put one on they can't call it a non-game species because one they get the revenue off the licenses and two if they need to suspend hunting of coyotes they can

And some mountain lion here and there and bobcats.
