And he said, the whole strip's lit up with news crews.

They want to talk to you.

I said, I really haven't got that much to say.

I'm not very interesting.

So that's going to be a quick conversation, isn't it?

But they just wheeled me, obviously, straight through everyone.

And Deb said, look, my hair's not even done.

So, yeah, they let Deb come down in the helicopter as well just in case I didn't make it.

So I'm grateful for, you know, from the minute it happened right through to this very second of all the great things that's happened since.

But, yeah, I got into the hospital.

They started taking x-rays.

They took an x-ray of my arm.

They thought, well, because the bone had been damaged, the number one was is that that arm will probably come off tonight.

And I went, wow, I said, but I can still wiggle my fingers.

And they go, it's not that.

It's the amount of damage plus to the bone as well.

If it gets infected, it's not going to be good for you at all.

And they said, but we do have another surgeon coming in and they allowed me to wait until in the morning.

Well, maybe that was what was going to happen.
