Yeah, I was pretty happy about that.
Second day after coming out of surgery, I've still got my arm.
I was really happy about that.
And, you know, a week later when the surgeon looked at my arm for the final time and he told me how he believes he'd done a really good job getting it all together.
It even made me happier again.
And then obviously to go home, it was great.
So it was every day was better than the one before until it wasn't.
I can specifically tell you the exact day that it all fell apart.
And it was, you know, I got out of the hospital on the following Tuesday.
I was attacked on a Wednesday.
They discharged me on the following Tuesday.
And it would have been the Thursday.
I'd woke up in the morning.
I had a migraine.
And my arm was not happy at all.
The pain was intense.
And then in the early days of pain, I mean, the early days, the first three years, it was tough to deal with the pain on a daily basis.
And I got up and I took some penidine for it because I didn't want to take the endones that I'd been given.
And that didn't work.
And so I took a couple of endones and that didn't work.
