But do you remember like when it came out?
that when Joe Biden was running for election, like toward the end before he had to drop out, do you remember there was there was a bunch of reporting about how it came out that their internal polls had Donald Trump winning like some ridiculous amount of like their internal polls had it being like a way bigger blowout than it was against Kamala Harris and that that was a part of why they dropped out.
And, you know, anyway, there was whether the those polls were correct or the polls that we were seeing were correct, where
Trump was, you know, winning by by a few points.
There was something amazing in that moment.
In fact, I remember us talking about this quite a bit, like in the second half of of 2024, where you'd be like, yo, who are the people who can still just support Joe Biden?
You know, like however you feel about politics, you're like we are pushing to such a level that you're like.
The guy is clearly I mean, just try to picture in your mind's eye, just stiff Joe Biden at his most senile at that debate, at that debate going.
And like at the end of that debate, right, like he had everyone was calling for him to drop out.
It was clear that he wasn't going to be in there anymore.
But like there was still some percentage of the country, maybe 35 percent or something that was like still going to vote for him.
Even after that.
And that's almost in this weird way.
It's like baked into the political cake of U.S.
politics is that there are these fairly sizable chunks that represent like tens of millions of Americans who are just like no matter what.
No matter what, you know, the old Donald Trump, I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and my supporters would still support me.
Well, we're we're slowly figuring out exactly what that percentage is.
It's not enough to win.
It's not a winning coalition, but it is a shocking.
But almost my point is just at this point, you're basically you're that guy.
