5.56 ball ammo is not great performing regardless of what barrel length you're using.
It doesn't expand.
It may tumble a little bit.
It may bend.
But it really doesn't do anything spectacular.
However, the Hornady 55 grain VMAX in a 16-inch gun is abysmal.
Because it's going so fast when it hits that fucking gel within about six or seven inches, it's exploded.
Now, it would vaporize a fucking prairie dog.
And I'm sure if you shoot somebody with it, it's going to fuck them up.
