They roll off seven wins in the regular season, and we all see what's happened since then.

And maybe that's played a role in all this.

I just have to think, you know, the NHL is the ultimate copycat league, and it's not lost on McDavid and Dreisaitl how desperate they are to win.

And Mike Babcock has won.

and he's won in different places and with elite players.

So, you know, that's probably contributed on some level, guys, and it has been a bit of a mess.

And, you know, it's interesting how, you know, Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, all searching for head coaches at the same time, and it was not an easy search for any of those groups.

And, you know, Vancouver found their guy now, and they're obviously in a very different place than the expectations in Edmonton, and we're still waiting to see how the whole Toronto thing shakes down, too.

So it's an interesting...

It's an interesting time, and it could certainly end with Mike Babcock being the head coach, and that's something that probably suits well, seemingly, by all accounts, to that core group in Edmonton that are on the clock.

They're on the timeline of, like, we need to do this, and we need to do this now, and maybe this is the guy that can take us there.

Yeah, I'm trying to think in my head.
