They were putting their bodies on the line.

And they got the rewards for it.

They were flicking things off the crossbar and winning headers.

But Canada was playing with their hands in the first half and just clipping balls in, I think.

And that changed in the second half.

They were a little bit more dynamic in the wide areas and keeping the ball on the ground.

But

you can't play into the hands of those two centre-backs.

It was an outstanding defensive performance from them and both full-backs as well.

Well, they've definitely got someone who believes in them, who trusts them and who, who's someone who really cares about them and the wellbeing of these players.

He's authentic in what he's saying and he, and he does care and,

I think Jesse's found somewhere it's been reciprocal from the media here and that he really enjoys this project.

He really enjoys being here, really enjoys the Canadian people.

And I think you said globally, he hasn't had that in the past.

The media was, in my opinion, far too harsh on him in England.

But I think that was off the back of the Bob Bradley being there.

So it was sort of an American in England.

And he galvanizes the group.

He's got a way of...

commanding a group uh and when he speaks uh and gets getting a message across with clarity uh and and gets a response from the boys buy in and they really do love him so you're seeing the the products of of what he's been able to build here i think it's a different it's different to club football but uh it's something that he's really really enjoying clearly and and committed to another couple years
