Well, as you say, I grew up with, with British parents as well.
My dad played for Newcastle in the seventies.
He made a couple of appearances as a goalkeeper and my parents, my mom and dad and all of my family are from the Northeast.
So it was, it was in our blood and I had Newcastle bedsheets and wallpaper and I had posters, Alan Shearer and Warren Barton and all of them.
So it's like, I grew up with the entertainers in 99.
So it was, I had a dream, two dreams when I was younger and was to play for Newcastle and play for play for Canada.
So I was so single-minded and getting over there, but like you say, you get over there and you share a dressing room.
I recently did like a speech at an athlete of the year thing.
And I talked about it.
I went from being the, probably the best player in Canada to the worst player in the dressing room.
So it's, it's, it's a shock to the system.
And then you're, you've got a funny accent.
You miss your, you miss your parents.
I left at 14 and I was lucky enough to live at, live with my nanny, my mom's mom.
