I'm not sure title winning, Andrew, but I do think, as Cammy says, it could be defining.
I feel it's theirs to throw away now and if they can get over this hurdle, and it's a big hurdle, then I think they will be almost there.
But I think we also need to realise that Hearts away form hasn't been great.
the last couple of months I know they beat Hibs who had 9 men but before that I think they'd only taken 1 point from 12 on the road so I see a huge test for them it's a test of nerve as well as Motherwell being a very good team Motherwell have got their own targets to play for as well so yeah I think if they could get past this and get 3 points I think they'd probably have more than one hand in the trophy
Yeah, it is.
And, you know, I think a big question this week is what Rangers team will turn up because, you know, the last two games against Motherwell and Harps, they've basically collapsed.
You know, what was a very alive title bid has pretty much gone and it's not officially over.
But, you know, we take an amazing sequence of results for Rangers to get back into it now.
but then you look at the record against Celtic at Celtic Park they've won their last two visits I don't think Celtic have beaten them over 90 minutes in 20 months and Rangers have managed to get you know wins over Celtic at times even though it hasn't really counted for much at the end of the season there's so many different subplots to this you know I think Danny Rowe's under pressure I think for Martin O'Neill it's going to be his last game against Rangers as Celtic manager he was out at Lennox Town yesterday Andrew and he was kind of reminiscing about his very first one
which everybody remembers is the 6-2 game, but he had Henry Larson and Chris Sutton that day with Lubomir Avchik, Stylian Petrov, all the rest of them behind him.
He doesn't have players of that calibre.
He would take any sort of win tomorrow to try and keep this going, but it's a really tough one to call because I think Rangers will be fired up to try and make some form of amends for what's happened the last couple of weeks and, you know, you wouldn't put a pass on getting a result tomorrow.
You've got to say Kilmarnock, Andrew, I think just because it looks as if maybe at the top end of the pitch they've got a bit more about them, in terms of Joe Hugo, Finlay Curtis, guys like that, I think Alan Fishbowler makes a big difference in midfield as well, but I think both of them are still in real trouble, to be fair for us with it, you know, St Mirna have got their injury problems at the moment, obviously Shamal George is out, Alec Gogic missing, Jonah Iunga, you know, three huge players for them, and...
think the kind of general view is that St Mirna are probably going to be the team that maybe finishes in this general edition playoff but I still think it's wide open it's interesting I've been joined by a couple of colleagues Mark Wilson and Alec Ray who are just sitting watching this game with an eye and maybe obviously I've got to confirm them perfect this one in the next round but they may have to play one of these teams in the finals they're just doing their research and you know I think that says everything that it's going to probably be one of these two teams right now I think Kelly will probably get out of it but today will tell us a lot yeah
Half time, Andrew, St Mirren 0, Kilmarnock 1, breathless stuff, so frantic, a very competitive game, it's not been high in quality from the St Mirren side, it's advantaged Kilmarnock so far, Miguel Freckleton's own goal has given them the lead that I think they have deserved, Neil McCann said they've been bright, they've posed a far bigger threat, certainly until the last maybe 5 minutes of the half, when St Mirren did have a good chance to level through Mark O'Hara, but they will really need to up their game in the second half to get anything out of this.
Kelly got through the first 60 seconds without conceding a goal for the first time in four away games.
He would have taken heart from ending that incredible start.
Without being brilliant, they found a rhythm pretty quickly.
They took lead in nine minutes.
Tom Lowry, he's been really good.
