Well done tonight.
Very welcome.
Cheers.
David, I think it's obviously a really, really tough opponent.
Is the quandary from a manager coming here that if you try to be more attacking and go at them, you leave yourselves open at the back and you're not as solid as you were tonight?
Is this the blueprint moving forward, especially when you look at your fixture, some really tough games, starting with Liverpool-Anfield, does this sort of tight, compact performance have to be the way you do it?
So with the organisation you showed tonight, plus the quality you had on the pitch and on the bench, confident you've got enough to get out of what's obviously a difficult situation?
What a performance from Manchester City.
Riyad Mahrez got them off and running, dribbling through the Villa defence, and when they gave the ball away for 2-0, there seemed no way back.
Aguero, three, his first of the afternoon.
Thumping strike, and that was before half-time.
A fourth from Gabriel Jesus, teed up delightfully by Kevin De Bruyne.
Second half, same story.
Aguero dancing through again for his second.
and then completing the route with his 12th Premier League hat-trick.
One back for Villa at the end, but no consolation after that demolition nice moment with John Moss.
The 12th Premier League match ball for Sergio Aguero in Riyad Mahrez with Patrick Davison.
I'm surprised.
I thought he would have known exactly how heavy they are.
He must have had a few in his time.
