So I think it's a fair assumption that maybe this is coming from somewhere else.

How can you understand someone if you don't even know the words they make?

God, I hope somebody writes that book and wants to learn how to do that language.

We wanted to make a language that was based on sounds we don't normally hear in spoken communication.

But they still had to come from a human's throat somehow or out of the human mouth.

So the idea was to create that language.

Then more interestingly, with Josh's character, we see that he hears or interprets those same sounds, but in terms of math.

Right, because he's math fluent.

He is math fluent, and that is, you know, math is the language in which the universe was written.
