You know, that's that's not a good outcome.
The reason, look, there's loads of scandals and it's fantastic this country because we love our scandals and we love our financial scandals.
a lot of them are really in the halfpenny place compared to the big strategic issues.
You know, for Unpost, the strategic issue is we're now a systemically important company to the country.
If we don't, if we stop delivering parcels at Christmas, the port will seize up within a week.
because we take that much of the trade into Ireland.
So, you know, that's where we really need to think again about building out the state, completing the job, build out our infrastructure.
I look at something, you know, if you look at something like housing, because that's really important to Impulse, because our costs are driven by the number of homes we visit.
We visit 2.4 million premises a week, 2 million of which are houses.
And I wanted to see, I was going, why are our costs going up there?
We've built 200,000 houses in the last decade.
Now, that is the equivalent of Cork, Limerick and Galway.
That's the equivalent of that.
We're not bad at housing.
We're really good at it.
We build loads, but we're not building enough.
And we're not keeping up with the pace of the growth of the economy in the country.
So it's back to this issue to recognise we're a young country.
It's why the Celtic Tiger didn't really work here.
There was a kind of smugness that we'd done it all.
