I don't know that I would say to their benefit because it's it's its own fiasco.
The conversation is about international conflict and military escalations.
The Strait of Hormuz, whether this war with Iran is winding down or whether this potential two week pause is really just a pause and we're going back to it.
And suddenly we realize, wait a second, we're funding new military action.
There's no confusion.
There never is.
There's no delay.
There's no congressional approval.
There's no hesitation.
We've got the money.
But two thousand dollars from how rich the tariffs made we made us, we still can't get two thousand bucks out to people.
So this is an important contrast.
Priorities are very different.
depending on whether the outcome helps everyday people or whether it serves Donald Trump's political or strategic goals.
Even though the war is unpopular, Trump came to believe it served his strategic goals when it was about putting money in people's hands.
