What's it doing to demand for social housing?
It would be a thoroughly unhealthy thing if we weren't having a proper, sensible, and I stress rational debate about all of this.
Well, I mean, I suppose my overall attitude to economic immigration, and obviously Peter's right, the vast majority of immigration is economic immigration, quite a number of students coming in as well.
But my broad attitude is not too much, not too little.
Okay, now that's an easy thing to say.
You need it for the health service, obviously.
But like an odd thing, I remember looking at OECD.
Well, I prefer to see fewer false claimants and there's a lot of false claimants and that's something that Jim Callaghan is trying to add.
It is, but it's quite a significant proportion of those claiming asylum are essentially false claimants and their claims have been refused.
And then the question is, what happens then?
Can they remain in the country illegally as it's happening?
But, you know, in terms of the health system, I remember looking at some OECD figures about how
You know, what percentage of health care workers and the likes of Denmark are from overseas?
And the question and the answer is hardly any.
And this is, you know, a separate issue.
I'd love to know how the Danes and the Italians, by the way, as well.
The Italians are also very dominated in their health care system by Italian people.
