teams do search for, especially early in a season, right?
And as far as where the Jays are, I mean, like last year, the identity kind of sprung forward and that kind of shook everybody and, you know, the identity just kind of...
presented itself.
This was a grinding team that would have tough at bats one through nine and play tight defense and be comeback kings.
And they also had that next man up identity or next man up ethos as well that kind of filtered through the locker room.
I know like Myles Straw, for example, being a shining light on that end, just as someone who when Dalton Varsha goes down, you know, the next man up is going to step in, Myles Straw, and he's going to take the reins while the opportunity is there.
I think for this year, it's kind of tough to describe what the identity is.
I mean, it's hard to kind of, how do you define yourself amidst all of the injuries this team is going through?
And they haven't really had a string of galvanizing this wins that you can kind of pull from.
and conjure up that identity and piece it together.
I mean, what do you think on that front?
And I think these things are kind of fluid, too.
I do think they have a good series against the Rays.
They string together several wins.
They go on a run.
All of a sudden, the identity is much easier to figure out.
It's much easier to define.
you know, if they start winning, like you mentioned, if guys step up, like they did last year, like the Eric Lowers, like the guys, you know, who are presented with opportunities.
