And he seemed frustrated.

I think you're starting to see... Vlad wears his heart in his sleeve.

I mean, you can see when he's happy, obviously.

And you can see when he's frustrated.

I mean, he tried to break his bat.

He couldn't do it after that ground out.

The other day, he was staring down the third base umpire.

I mean, we can get into the numbers here, but I don't know.

For me, like when it comes to Vlad, kind of just want to take a step back and just say it feels like he's earned the benefit of the doubt.

I mean, the way he played, the way he put the team on his shoulders under the brightest of lights when the games were most meaningful.

I don't understand how that can just be forgotten.

And for me, I think you absolutely, you know, he deserves the benefit of the doubt here.

Yeah, I mean, to your point, and then to kind of like play devil's advocate to myself, I mean, he is a superstar, right?

And he's got a superstar contract.

And I think that is the reality of the position that he's in, the position he occupies as the face of the franchise is that critics are always going to be wanting more.
