Well, that's the thing, though.

Ever since St Stephen's put up their Easter promises tree, she's been accepting every offer going.

She's roped in Pip and Leonard.

Yesterday morning, he and Mum went over to see her.

They didn't come back till mid-afternoon.

Carol had him outside sewing calendula and valerian and mulching the rose bushes.

And all the time, she and Mum are sat inside yakking.

Sounds to me like Carol's got the right idea.
