So again, I don't know.
I believe American law is similar to Canadian law.
As a matter of fact, I believe that, you know, we've imported some of these American legal concepts into Canada, like these tort.
The tort I mentioned, public disclosure, was originally an American tort that we imported.
So I imagine the law will be roughly similar.
But certainly in Canada, this would be a problem.
And the thing about Canada is that
For years, it was very hard to assert a claim for invasion of privacy.
There were even Ontario courts that said there is no such thing as invasion of privacy.
So it was a fantastic time to talk about, you know, your partner's, you know, the size of their manhood in those days, right?
It was the heyday of talking about sexual stuff about your former partner.
Got it.
But then in 2012, there was a seminal case called Jones and Tingay, which
created this rate of intrusion upon seclusion.
So in other words, the first kind of civil action for disclosing private information about somebody.
And that was followed by this 2016 case that created public disclosure of private facts.
So now we have a couple of civil lawsuits for invasion of privacy.
We've always had privacy statutes in several Canadian provinces like BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
The Quebec Civil Code has always dealt with privacy as well.
