But just getting, yeah, like you said, getting my feet wet and getting to do it.
you know show what I can do and it's it's very it's very easy to lock in when there's 40,000 people and you feel like the whole world is watching you and not saying that it's an easy game but the level of focus that the
environment gives me is something that I really enjoy.
Yeah, I loved it.
I absolutely loved it.
I, I've always been a guy, um, my high school coach and everybody, all of my coaches will tell you who wanted to throw every day, who wanted to throw all the time and do all these things, do way too much of, of throwing.
And I kind of get to do that now.
And it's not, you know, it's not out of the, uh, out of the script.
Like I, if, if I'm feeling good, like I'm available for the next day.
And I really liked the back to backs.
I really liked staying in there as much as I can and, you know, taking it easy on the, on the,
throwing program part of things and that was something different that they've talked to me about like hey you're going to throw a lot here like you don't have to throw as much during throwing program and I'm more than happy to do that so I definitely it was different than anything that I've ever done before but the bodies responded really well part of that is definitely adrenaline and some of the caffeine I've been having in there but it's been it's been really amazing I surprised myself in a way how well I've been I've been bouncing back and and
that's something that I definitely want to do, um, continue to do is, is being available and giving, um,
Yeah, I've said to a couple of people, it's like I get the nervous jitters of the start day, about a quarter of it, but it's every day.
And it doesn't really last as long, which I like.
I like when my name gets called, that's when it all kind of hits and the adrenaline comes kind of all at once instead of kind of slow dripping throughout the day.
I've kind of, uh, dealt with that as a starter and, you know, being a starter is, um, awesome, but the, um, the adrenaline that I get when I get into the, um, onto the mound in the bullpen when it's time to go is, is pretty cool, pretty awesome.
And, you know, the, the routines have changed, but in a way it's, you're still throwing a baseball and I just kind of weeded out like what I need, what I don't need and other things that, um,
you know, make me just go out there and throw strikes and then fill up the zone and control my pitches.
And it's not as much as I thought.
