Yeah, it's you don't have to have all of your pitches at once and being able to throw them all for strikes, which has given me some mental room to kind of mess around, not mess around, but to take my shots with a change up or take my shots with a curveball that haven't necessarily been my strongest zone pitches and giving me that room, I think, has helped me feel more confident with it when I throw it and not not

put so much stake at that pitch at that given time because I always know I have my fastball slider and that's kind of my bread and butter and it's allowed me to going into the bullpen has allowed me to just double down on the fastball slider and just as long as I know where those two are going and

um can get three outs that's all they really need out of me so far so um it made it a lot easier to be able to just focus on my strengths and being able to develop my weaknesses um throughout the throughout the season as it goes with less stakes at hand i would say that's what it kind of feels like is is i can miss with a change up in it and it's not like two innings down the line they're going to continue to know they're like oh hey he can't

he can't throw this, you know?

So if I miss with one and I'm hit with the other, I'm 50%.

And that's, that's pretty good still.

Yeah, I'm feeling much more comfortable with them as the season goes on.

It is a little bit more difficult to get those in in throwing program because my intensity in throwing program is not as high.

I'm not able to get as many reps, like you said, and I don't touch the mound in between my outings like I do in the minor leagues, which it's nice to be able to touch the mound here and still work on those pitches.

But honestly, it's not for the lack of reps.

You know, when I throw it in the bullpen, when it's not in game, they're great.

I just need more reps with them in game.

And that's where I feel like it's actually helped me being a reliever in them, getting less reps with them.

It's more so the game reps and the importance of being in the zone is still there, obviously, but the...

there's a little bit more leeway of like, if I miss, it's not the end of the world.

Like I'm going to have my fastball slider still.

So it's freed me up.

And I think that's almost exactly what I needed to be able to just throw them in there.

Like I do in my bullpen sessions and, and, and catch ball.
