If he's not, well, then we move on from that because we want to make sure that the players are looked after as much as possible and the decisions that they make, yep, they're under pressure, but minds always go with the safety approach first.
I find it interesting that they combine both.
I honestly think they're just two completely different things.
I thought that before I moved to Sydney, when I was at West Coast, that if an academy puts in time, money, resources, to first of all get talent that they're after, but the main priority certainly over here is to develop the game in the northern markets.
That's what we do.
And whether a kid gets drafted to us,
We get a choice over that, and great.
But we want as many as possible get drafted.
So I think probably putting them in the same is the wrong thing to do.
And for us, the time and effort and money that we do put in to try and get talent on our list, if someone else gets that talent, well then how do we get compensated as well?
I think the feedback certainly we gave some of the AFL as a sort of a coaching fraternity and people that were involved was the time and the speed of the game was just, that was too quick.
You know, I think whether that's more players that you've got, whether it goes to a squad of 30, you get the ability to be able to rotate minutes through because, you know, we went from an intra club to a state of origin game, which was probably faster than the opening round or round one game.
Yeah, we've just got to be aware of the players.
It is a long year, and we need to get that right.
