I have draft excluder here.
So these lads go around your window.
So you just simply peel off the tape and oftentimes with the older windows, especially, even when you do close them, there is a draft comes in the side.
So this, when you open up your window and the lip that goes the whole way around, it's really, really good sticky tape and it sticks and it's like...
it's like the rubber seal around your tyre or such like that that stops the airflow flowing out through it basically.
You won't see it.
When the window is closed you will cop it when you open up the window alright but again it just looks like a layer of foam a layer of tape if you put it on nice and tidy keep it nice and tight to the edges it should work and it should stop just the draft coming in.
Well, I suppose going down the road of replacing this stuff is thousands.
So I bought these this morning in Chadwick's.
So I did.
And that was eight euro and this lad was 15 euros.
so the cheapest chips as well and look at if you do put them on you still figure out it's freezing in this place then we might look into trying to change it but I always think why not give it a go and just get your drill or get your piece of literally a scissors to cut these lads and stick it onto the door why not what could go wrong but the drafts mightn't be coming just from the doors and windows there could be other problems where else should we look at
Well, we should look in older houses, unfortunately, we have our four inch holes in the wall where we have our vent covers.
So they used to have, that used to happen for airflow throughout the house, that mould and all the rest of it.
And for some brilliant reason, they decided to drill these four inch holes into the wall.
And that was how we were going to control our airflow.
There are other ways we can look into it by maybe upgrading our heating systems and stuff like that.
But in terms of doing small jobs, I would stick to these lads first.
Yes.
To change the locks is fairly simple.
