So the reason why we bought this in is just nice and simply just to kind of encourage people to do it at home as such.

Like to change these out, there's not a big job.

All you simply have to do is take out the four screws here, take out just two screws here, pull them out and pop them back.

Yeah.

The most important part of looking at this is when we do take them off.

OK, it's this lad here we're looking at, which is the faceplate that joins where the latch sticks out of.

Okay.

Sometimes when you do take them off, the locks on the inside are always the exact same size pretty much.

But we always encourage to take it off, bring it into the hardware shop and say, I want a lock that's this size.

They are.

The face place can be slightly different.

The locks on the inside, the mechanism are usually pretty much standard.

But when you do buy them, this little latch here can be other way around.

So what you can do is simply pull it out, turn it around 180 degrees and it goes the other way.

If they bought the lock, you imagine now this door is going to close that way.

So when it pushes in, it goes into the latch and it'll lock then.

These ones are the cheaper ones.

You can flick it, pull it out, turn it around.

On the more expensive ones, there's a little tiny switch inside.

When you flick it, this little pop out like that and then you simply just turn it around.
