Because in the episode about monogamy, you know, we talked a lot about, like, human partnerships existing for things like survival, for practical reasons, like alliances, property.
All of that stuff.
Where did it change for us?
And we're going to try and find it out today.
yeah so speaking on those different cultures right let's get into that now and try and figure out kind of a baseline history of where did romantic love come from and whether or not there's some evidence to show in ancient times that people did feel this like obviously we were talking before about animatron like reproductive love that's a huge thing and we were saying you know humans partnered up with each other for survival reasons for the resources all of that but you
Is there any evidence to show in different cultures that there were like little hints of like, oh, no, like I love you in a romantic way and I want to pair up with you in that sense?
Yeah, in the way that we, I guess, think about love today, right?
Okay, let's start at the very beginning and try and find the earliest example of humans having some kind of romantic love that was separate to reproductive, that was separate to all of the partnerships and the arranged marriages of it all.
We are going to go back in time, like crazy amount of time.
So they reckon, and they, I mean, historians.
Historians reckon that they have found one of the earliest love poems in existence.
And this is like a physical thing.
