Trump signed an executive order last year declaring that children born to people who are in the U.S.
without documentation or are here temporarily will not be considered U.S.
The order marks a shift from how the 14th Amendment and a congressional law have been interpreted for 160 years, which is that anyone born on U.S.
soil is considered a citizen.
Lower court struck down Trump's order as unconstitutional, so it hasn't gone into effect.
The order is meant to apply to any future babies born, but would still have massive impacts on who is considered an American.
A decision from the Supreme Court is expected in a few months.

He's flip-flopped on a number of things, including his stated goal of removing Iran's uranium stockpiles.
