Again, I don't want to make this more of a Kendrick and Drake thing, but Drake, if you're reading this, let's not pretend that that wasn't a fucking crazy surprise.

Scorpion had a lot of leaks.

Scorpion leaked like crazy.

And CLB had to make a whole new fucking album down there.

So yeah, I get it, but that's kind of crazy to say since the Beyonce joint.

Listen, man, the bottom line is all this energy feels good, though.

I like the battle.

I like Kendrick just dropping, not giving nobody any inkling that he's putting it out today.

I like all of that.

A lot of producers this year, during the battle and after, went on podcasts and did interviews

telling us that Kendrick actually works really, really fast.

Because myself included thought that Kendrick's one of those guys that makes one song every, like, two years, and he just slowly puts together an album.
