They can tell โ Come over, blow a little mapacho smoke on you, maybe sing a song in front of you, maybe get you calmed down or get you redirect what you're doing. That's their job. That's what shamans do.

And because, you know, you're putting yourself in a unusual state that can be terrifying. But as you point out, there's always something to be learned, you know.
