Yeah, I mean, rap on trial is a huge issue that has gone back many years. That is a dangerous, slippery slope in hip-hop. There's a lot of people who make lyrics. If you based crimes on lyrics, almost every rapper, not even just rapper, a lot of musicians themselves would go to jail to base criminality on fictional characters. It's extremely dangerous.

So the defense was trying to make an argument that this was a prejudicial factor in this, that the jury found out that somebody was in jail when they're when they're trying to keep the jury sort of out of that, that information. And that really led to a moment where both sides sort of saw that a plea deal may be the quickest way and maybe the best way to get out of this.
