As a result of a decline in railway transportation in the 1960s, BSCP membership declined.
It merged in 1978 with the Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks, BRAC, known as the Transportation Communications International Union.
So shout out to the Pullman, Porters, the Brotherhood of the Sleeping Car.
This is the precursor to what we now call the Civil Rights Movement.
So shout out to these brothers, man.
And shout out to the women as well that were also maids on those rail cars.
