Basically, Paul Birdsong comes out and says that one of the leaders of the Black Panther Party does not want him representing the Black Panther Party anymore.

He claims that he has the messages where they gave him permission, doesn't show the messages.

He claims that he had the right to wear the iconography with the Black Panther Party patches and

different things like this he claims that he had permission to do all these things he claims that he has the messages did not show the messages um he claims that the leaders of the black panther party which he was in contact with said that the ice fight is not their fight

I'm skeptical of that because the Black Panther Party has always been for the liberation of all people.

The Black Panther Party stood next to Latinos.

I mean, you don't have the Rainbow Coalition without Fred Hampton and the Black Panthers.

The Black Panthers have always been about international people, internationalism.

oppressed people internationally.

So they've stood with Palestine way back when, um, they always have fought for the, uh, for, for the liberation of all oppressed people, but they fought specifically for black American people because those were their brothers and sisters in arms.

Um, those were the people that was in proximity to, um, a lot of the tenants of black Panther party surround the black American experience, um, in regards to police brutality and regards to living communally, um,

You know, they weren't... They were communist.

They weren't capitalist by any stretch.

They were more socialist and communist.
