Later on in that day when Glassop was busy, the helicopters were flying up and down the river and
I happened to get a call from the electrician and I said, what are the helicopters doing, do you know?
Are they checking the electrical wires where they go across or what?
He said, no, the glass has gone missing.
Well, I said that to Gus, who was still here working, and he said, I'd know where they're looking in the wrong place.
Why would you say something like that?
I mean, and I said something like, well, if you know where to look, why don't you let the police know?
It probably was just a smart comment of, oh, yeah, I know where to look.
Yeah, well, he would have spoken to her at some time or other.
I didn't pick that up that way.
Probably good because if Debbie's picked up other things soon.
We both had spoken well and truly before the police came out here.
I went into Kenilworth and mentioned to the detective and he said, all right, we'll send somebody out to talk with you.
And Debbie had already spoken to them.
But the problem was because everything was sort of circumstantial, it couldn't sort of key everything together.
