A moral society should judge itself based on how it cares for and looks out for the most vulnerable. But welfare is expensive. Redistribution costs money. It literally is just money. And you know what's really, really good for growing your ability to spend money to help the poor? It's growth. Being pro-growth is being pro-growth.
