I mean, we didn't pay ourselves for the first year and a half at all.

Year one was 2014.

And the company technically formed at the end of 2014, but we'd started doing work prior.

And then we saw the agency as an opportunity in 2014.

And then in 2014,

I always forget this.

So 2015, I was still, oh, that can't be right.

2015, we got funding.

Yeah, yeah, 2015, we got funding, 50K from a poker friend of mine.

Combined that with my poker bankroll, which I was still using to play poker.

And so then I kind of withdrew the bankroll from poker.

It was a little over 100K.

And so basically 150 or so K in total.

And the 100K goes directly towards this is what we're going to live off of until we make our company work.

And the 50K goes, this is what my business is going to be investing in.

And so, yeah, that's where it went from there.

So we didn't pay ourselves for a while because I'm foolish probably.

And I kept saying, we're not focused on revenue.

We're focused on learning.

We're focused on finding the right opportunities and like some levels of growing an audience and a community.
