It plays rain noises.
So when I'm really trying to get out of Perth, I close the curtains in my, I've got this tiny study off the kitchen.
I close the curtains.
I crank up the air conditioning.
I put on a jumper and my noise cancelling headphones and I listen to the rain.
I pretend I'm in Galway.
It's pathetic.
It really is.
Whatever it takes.
Yes, too warm.
It was, it was the crash.
I mean, I had a small practice in the West of Ireland and I worked for property developers and I did a lot of property work generally.
So when the crash hit, it hit us very hard.
And my husband just happened to be a civil engineer.
So he was on a short-term contract at the time.
So for us, it was like a
tsunami of financial disasters.
Plus, we bought our house at the peak of the boom.
So it was really, really rough.
And I had been, you know, building up my little practice over the last six or so years because I started it when I was quite young when I was only 26.
