Guys, we can blame the government in a couple of weeks when it's raining too much, and then we can blame the government when it's flooding too much, and we can blame the government when it's too cold, but we can't expect the government just to weigh... I'm not apolitical, I'm not affiliates to any party, but we can't just expect the government to do everything all of the time, apart from doing their very best.
We can expect the government to address the end of the world.
I would say, sir, if you're the government representative here, I could guarantee you that they will promise you they're doing their very best.
Those targets are goals and aspirations.
Those targets are goals... Des, Des, one second.
So those targets are goals and aspirations to which they are trying to reach.
You know, we're all trying to make goals.
We're all trying to aspire to be the best.
and the leaders in everything when it comes to eco and green and all other areas of life.
We all want to be the best and epitomise everything.
We're all trying to do that.
Why don't we just enjoy the sunshine and enjoy the fine weather and make hate when it shines?
I'm sure when the government signed up to all these targets, the EU and all that, maybe at that particular time, they were realistic.
But the reality of the country we live in right now with all the crisis we have, housing crisis, inflation, you name it, that has been kicked down the road, that count.
with the targets for the climate.
And the other side of that is, the government was writing checks, but it couldn't sign on that.
And no country in Europe, this is where we all have to be realistic as well, no country in Europe is making them targets.
