Connecting people.
And look, all the mission statements, they sound brilliant, don't they?
You're connecting the world.
Isn't that a brilliant thing?
We should all want the world.
Yeah.
But then it turns out the world's really complex and a whole bunch of things that you're not expecting will happen when you connect the world.
You know it.
I do know that one.
Yes.
A bunch of those technologies are things that did exactly what they were designed to do.
The world did get connected.
There's billions of people using all those products.
There was a very, very simplistic narrative and understanding of what would unfold as the world got connected, as all those technologies rolled out.
And a bunch of the good things, fantastic.
Tech can change the world.
But there's another part of what happens.
The world changes tech.
It doesn't just show up in this vacuum.
We never tell that story.
