And, you know, we push hard to try to compete with Irish rates, but Ireland as a sovereign is able to.
raise money at very competitive rates internationally.
But in terms of projects and the kinds of work that we've supported in Ireland, I mentioned education in terms of primary and secondary schools.
We've supported Technological University of Dublin, the Grange Gorman Campus, supporting the movement of 9,000 staff and students in there to North Dublin.
It's significant across the School of Arts, Engineering,
culinary arts, everything.
So it's really created a hub there.
So social housing over the past number of years and affordable housing has been maybe the single biggest area of support to Ireland.
And EIB actually considers Ireland to be a leading country in terms of the strategies that it's deploying for social housing.
So just yesterday, we met with the CEO of the housing finance agency, Deirdre Collier, as well as Minister Brown, and we're happy to launch a 400 million euro deal, which has been signed to support even more housing development, specifically around the focus on social and affordable, and also some affordable purchases that I know the HFA supports.
So we pushed forward that yesterday.
We've also supported...
Social housing PPPs through the National Development Finance Agency previously as well.
Public-private partnerships, exactly.
So that draws in a private partner to operate the asset for 25 years.
And we had a very useful meeting yesterday with the Department of Housing and the team in there that are continuing to look at more and new ways to continue to drive forward housing development in Ireland.
I have to say...
Ireland is not unique in terms of the challenges it faces in housing.
It's the same all across Europe.
We see it.
