But luckily when you're a kid, the anatomy is shaped a little bit different.
It's almost like God knew what he was doing.
And it's narrow at the top.
So when stuff gets stuck on top, whether it be a chew toy, a pacifier, a Lego, something like that, it generally just sits on top of the airway.

it's it's easy to get an infant unchoked and literally if you just turn upside down let gravity help you out a lot of times it does kind of free the object or the formula or whatever but adults are typically are a little more they get a chicken bone chicken wing and like now our crews haven't gone with miguel forceps and like dig food out of their mouth like that's a little more difficult than um with the infant yes definitely
So in opioid overdoses, we know this is kind of a big topic.
It's like,
nationally, I feel like it's kind of went down a little bit.
Opioid, uh, overdoses are looking at the data on overdoses.
I know for our system in our area, uh, it's staying about the same.
Like our particular system, we saw a drop in opioid overdoses over the summer and now it's going to kick back up again, but we're still, um, holding about the same number.
We run about 15 overdoses a month here at my system.
Uh, so we were actually working on community paramedics.
Um, this, uh,
Police officers are becoming more community outreach with opioid response.
We have a paramedic now.
That's all he does is opioid response.
So it's a big deal.
