Podcast Appearances
My expectation is either they lose interest in the whole thing and we never hear anything about podcasts on there again after these initial deals are done.
Or it's profitable.
It kind of makes sense, but it doesn't make that much sense.
So Netflix basically...
a couple of years from now, we're getting hit up by Netflix reps that are saying, Hey, we'll give you a 50% of the ad money.
If you post your podcast on Netflix as well.
And everybody's there because that was the whole deal with Spotify is like they get Joe Rogan and Joe Budden, call her daddy, whatever.
And that brings people over.
Maybe you start listening to all your podcasts on Spotify.
Do you know how that's doing financially?
And that's why podcasts are great because if you watch a full Joe Budden podcast or Joe Rogan, you're sitting there for three hours uninterrupted.
And people are used to doing this.
Although they now are doing episodes without guests.
Which I always thought that was kind of the logical thing for them to do.
Because getting guests, everybody gets guests.
And they're good at it.
They get big guests.
But they used to do something that was more like the Joe Budden podcast.
Where, you know, Mona, the Don't Call Me White Girl from the Joe Budden podcast.
She was part of it.
