But again,
you have to look through a lens of reality, right?
I was going to be 33 years old that off season.
I was going to have Tommy John surgery, 18 month recovery.
I'm going to come back at what 35 after not pitching for a, for a year and a half, two years.
And, you know, I don't know about you, but have you looked up the market on what 35 year old relievers, middle relievers make, you know, or where they get job opportunities?
they don't in today's market.
So, you know, I just realized that everything was stacked up against me.
Like, sure.
I have the competitive nature to want to keep going and want to fight and grind and battle and scratch and claw.
But was it worth it?
Number one, was it worth it to put it on my family again?
That was, that was a real big issue.
And then number two was, you know, is, is,
is the run, you know, is, is the long run, you know, worth the short slide of whatever career I had left.
So, um, you know, I move on and, and I didn't really know what I wanted to do.
I do feel I have a really good, um, insight on, you know, pitching and mechanics and definitely the mental side of the game.
you struggle in this game mentally.
And I love that I'm going to touch on this throughout my content creation era because I've been the 4A guy.
